Social involvement

Social involvement is a great part of Du-Var Laboratory’s corporate life. We truly believe social, environment and economic dimensions are strongly related. This belief is materialized by many corporate involvements.

This involvement is made according to three major points:

Charity

Du-Var Laboratory is involved in causes that are important for its employees such as the CHUM foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society.

In 2010, Mr. Trudeau climbed the Kilimanjaro to raise funds for the Cancer Research Society.

In the summer of 2011, Pierre Trudeau took part in a second expedition, this time to Machu Picchu, Peru, to raise money for the Cancer Research Society.

Participation to the South Shore economic growth

Du-Var Laboratory contributes to create collective wealth by being a member of the following comities:

-Governor of the South Shore Trade and Industry Chamber (CCIRV)

-Longueuil Economic Development Corporation (DEL) (member of CA) and corporate executive member

-Longueuil Local Development Center (CLD) (member of CA)

Eager to share its knowledge, Du-Var Laboratory is helping organizations to stay ahead of all development and contributes by the same time to developing best practices. Du-Var Laboratory’s goal is to work according to the highest standards of production, but also to be part of its evolution.
